The venue for the International Gap Junction Conference 2022 is the “A Coruña Conference Center” PALEXCO (Muelle de Transatlánticos, s/n, 15003 A Coruña, Spain).
PALEXCO has become an international reference for hundreds of scientific conferences, companies, associations and agencies that have chosen to hold their events there.
Location, space, elegance and functionality are the keys to this project designed by César Portela and Ricardo Bofill, but even more impressive is the unique design of its roof, which resembles the wings of a giant seabird, in perfect harmony with the port setting and the city’s intimate historical connection to the sea.
Palexco is strategically located facing the sea and right in the heart of A Coruña’s historic center. Surrounded by the best hotels and restaurants and the most select shops, it is fully integrated in the day-to day life of the city. A place to enjoy.

AUDITORIO ARAO
The Arao auditorium has been selected for the oral presentations. The design of this auditorium and its equipment are perfectly adapted to the demand of the conference. This room has a surface area of 600 m2 and has all the necessary means for the active participation of up to 500 attendees.
SOTAVENTO
The poster area of this conference will be the Sotavento Hall. This hall is a unique space of 550 m2, recently redesigned completes the offer of this unique building, offering a new corner, more welcoming and exquisite, ideal for the culmination of the event, discussions and for the organization of social events. This space is surrounded by a magnificent terrace decorated with spectacular lighting and it is completely soundproofed and have natural light.
