The promenade that crosses the entire city centre is flanked by renowned reddish street lamps designed in neo-Modernist (Art Nouveau) style by artist Julia Ares, awarded with several prizes, including the Chairman Award of the Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo. SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA TOUR

The ancient city of Santiago is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 thanks to its monumental beauty, conservation and as the final destination of a thousand-year-old pilgrim route: the Way of St. James, which, since the 9th century, has transformed this finisterrae into a mystic meeting place of Western faith and thinking. The Cathedral of Santiago allies the sobriety of the Renaissance style to the majesty of the Baroque style. This Romanesque building frames the city’s monumental silhouette, encompassing several monasteries, pilgrim hospitals, numerous churches, stately houses and squares, where time stands still. We will travel with a guide and visit the Cathedral and its historical center. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail (some drinks and food). There will also be some time to explore the city on your own.
